Personal data is handled to the best of our knowledge and belief, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable national data protection laws.

Categories of Data

The following personal data are processed:

• Billing address (including VAT ID, if applicable)

• IP address (anonymized), date and time of website visit, pages visited, referrer, time zone and location, operating system, browser, downloads, link clicks

• Order data (e.g., via email)

Purpose of Data Processing

Personal data are processed for the following purposes:

• Processing and invoicing of services

• Scheduling and communication regarding consultation appointments

• Preparation and execution of astrological consultations (birth data required for horoscopes)

• Analysis and optimization of the website as well as improvement of the user experience

• Sending information, offers, or newsletters, provided that consent has been given

Consent and Withdrawal

Personal data are provided voluntarily by clients. Consent extends to the processing of data for contract fulfillment, support, communication, and—where voluntarily granted—for promotional purposes. Consent can be withdrawn at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal can be submitted in writing via email to mail@toppgast.online. Following a withdrawal, the data will no longer be processed for the purposes mentioned.

Retention Periods and Data Destruction

Personal data are stored only as long as necessary for contract fulfillment, legal retention obligations, or until consent is withdrawn. At the request of the client, personal data will be deleted digitally or physically destroyed (e.g., shredded) immediately, or at the latest 7 years after the consultation.

Data Processors

Toppgast e.U. utilizes external service providers (data processors) for the processing of personal data, including Zoom for video consultations and Wix Studio Apps for the website. Data is only transferred to the extent necessary for the provision of services. Data is not shared with uninvolved third parties.

Rights of Clients

Clients and cooperation partners have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability, and objection to the processing of their personal data. Requests can be directed to the Data Controller (beratung@toppgast.online). Further information as well as complaints can be filed with the Austrian Data Protection Authority at www.dsb.gv.at.
